Jackson Rathbone (Singapore, 21 dicembre 1984) è un attore statunitense.
Famoso per aver interpretato Nicholas Fiske in Beautiful People, ha avuto ruoli anche in The OC e Close to Home. Ha partecipato anche ai film Molding Clay (AKA River's End), Pray for Morning, and Travis and Henry. Ha lavorato per Disney 411 e intervistato personaggi emergenti tra cui Hilary Duff. Nel 2008, ha interpretato Jasper Hale nel film Twilight, basato sul best-seller di Stephenie Meyer.
Rathbone è nato a Singapore e si è spostato dall'Indonesia a Midland, in Texas, dove ha iniziato a recitare nei teatri locali in musical al fianco di giovani attori del programma The Pickwick Players.
Ha frequentato le scuole superiori Interlochen Arts Academy, una scuola privata di arti in Michigan, dove si è specializzato nella recitazione. Dopo il diploma aveva deciso di andare alla Royal Scottish Academy, ma poi andò subito a Los Angeles per sperimentare il grande schermo. Immediatamente firma per Disney's 411, e ottiene un ruolo importante per la serie Beautiful People.
Rathbone reciterà nel ruolo di Sokka in The Last Airbender, adattamento cinematografico della serie animata di successo Avatar: La Leggenda di Aang. Il film uscirà nelle sale americane il 2 luglio2010.
Quando non lavora in TV/al cinema, a Rathbone piace anche la musica, scrivere, cantare, fotografare e produrre. Suona in un gruppo musicale - i 100Monkeys - con due amici che ha incontrato alle scuole superiori.
Rathbone è amico Ashley Greene e Kellan Lutz, che conosceva prima dell'inizio delle riprese di Twilight.
